ABOUT

Moving from Auckland, New Zealand, to the U.S.A as a teenager brought new challenges. Adjusting to a new culture and trying to find where I fit in often left me feeling lost. Growing up in NZ, I fell in love with street fashion: graphic tees, sneakers, and jerseys, and with not a lot of money to my name, I collected the few pieces that felt authentically me.

Fashion became more than just what I wore; it became a way to express my identity and connect with others doing the same. Kotahitanga and Tahi, Māori words for “unity” and “being one,” exemplify that message and also give me an opportunity to represent a part of my heritage.
